Get involved

You can get involved in the Sam Sharpe Project in a number of ways:

Support the project financially

The work over the initial two year of the project has been funded by our partner organisations.  However, in order to build on the Sam Sharpe legacy after that, we will require more funds.  By supporting the project financially,  you enable us to:

  • provide scholarships to young people wishing to attend baptist colleges
  • set up lectures and conferences to support the Sam Sharpe legacy
  • create more resources

To contribute financially, please send a cheque to Dr Nicholas Wood, Centre for Christianity & Culture, Regent’s Park College, Pusey Street, Oxford OX1 2LB.  The cheque should be made payable to “Regent’s Park College”.

Attend one of our events

We would love to see you at one of our lectures or conferences.  To keep up to date with what’s on, have a look at our events diary.

Join a story study group

Study groups will be set up in a selection of black- and white-majority congregations and multicultural churches throughout the country.   If you are interested in getting involved, contact us.

Use the materials produced through the project

The Sam Sharpe Project will produce a range of materials.  Many will be free to download and use, and some will be available to members only.  Have a look a the resources page for more information.
